A growing sector of Imagines' business over recent years has been the site-marking of proposed wind turbine locations. The number of such projects has increased to the point where it is now virtually a business of it's own!!
With a proven track record as a responsible blimp operator, with many years experience this extension of the business has been a sound one.
In accord with the UK Civil Aviation Authority, Imagine has developed a safe approach to the siting of blimps in controlled airspace areas at higher than usually permitted heights - up to 420ft.! This includes marking the tether lines with additional 'wind-sock' markers part way up! (as shown in the photo above)
