One of the more complex structures we have had to make. This is a 2-section cube room in nylon designed to kiss fit against 2 concrete support pillars in the middle of the room. The intention is to create an enclosed space which can be heated using free-standing heaters to create a hot and sweaty yoga space indoors, ideal for live streaming classes during Covid, and when things get back to normal, will take up to 15 people. One section can be used as a self-supporting stand alone building for retreats. LED lighting can be inserted into the walls to create a calming glow.
Structurally a real challenge to create a room that is 6.3m wide with a fully inflatable roof to keep the heat in, which will still stand upright. We have achieved this, but the roof also benefits from additional support via anchor points connecting the roof structure to the ceiling in the room.
